When a migraine is already present, painkillers often seem like the only option.
However, there is also a technique from the Himalayan yoga tradition that can help with this, which can help even when a migraine is present.
The preventive exercise is something that personally, I have never experienced a migraine on days when I remember to do this in the morning.
You have probably already noticed that rushing away or ignoring the pain only makes the pain worse.
Unfortunately, the only way forward from pain is through it.
A clear focus exercise where we surrender to the pain, and become aware of the pain in our body.
MODULE 2 : NERVOUS SYSTEM BALANCE
You may have heard of the vagus nerve – the longest nerve in our body, which runs through the intestines, lungs and brain.
The function of this nerve plays a significant role in the formation or calming of the stress response.
With this exercise, you can easily activate the vagus nerve.
Controlling stress levels is essential for migraine prevention.
However, it is not always easy.
I will teach you two techniques that can be used to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and how to balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
Among the hormones, cortisol increases stress. Among the stimulants, coffee, for example, can increase cortisol levels.
However, sometimes you need a quick pick-me-up. I will teach you three techniques that can energize you naturally without stimulants.
MODULE 3 : RELIEVE MUSCLE-ORIGINATED HEADACHES - NECK, SHOULDERS, EYES, FACE
Tension headaches are easily caused by staring at screens.
Often, without realizing it, we frown, adding tension to the eyebrows, forehead, and temples.
These exercises release tension from the area of the trigeminal nerve, eyes, and temples.
Sometimes, facial muscle tension is difficult to remove.
This exercise helps to relax even the deepest facial muscles, which can tense up too much while looking at screens, or even while sleeping if you clench your teeth.
You've probably tried many neck and shoulder stretches, maybe massage and possibly other methods.
However, I dare say that this third video of the module will give you new methods for improving blood circulation in the cervical spine and thus possibly helping with neck-related headaches.

I was diagnosed with migraine when I was 2 years old, although first the doctor said that nope, so small kid can not have migraine.
Throughout my childhood and teenager years I suffered from migraine with aura, and as a young adult migraines became chronic.
I looked for methods, doctors and neurologists in my home country and abroad to help me heal, and tried everything, like changing diet, acupuncture, different chronic medications, loads of pain killers and triptans as well as biological medicine.
