Do you feel like your days as a digital nomad are often chaotic, unproductive, or lacking direction?
Believe me, I’ve been there myself.

It can give you the stability and clarity you need to thrive, no matter where in the world you wake up.
This is your Morning Practice schedule for the upcoming 7 days.

A morning routine sets the tone for your entire day. Whether you’re hustling from a co-working space in Bali or working from a quiet Airbnb in Lisbon, starting your day with intention can transform your mindset and productivity.
Let’s explore why having a daily morning routine is crucial:
I started a year ago doing about 15 minutes breathwork, yoga, meditation or mindful movement every morning, and it has revolutionized my life.
You can read my personal experience here: I did 15-minute morning yoga for a year, here’s how it changed my life
If you’re wondering how to build a morning routine that aligns with your nomadic lifestyle, I know how you feel.
I’ve struggled with maintaining consistency and clarity, both working from home and as a digital nomad anywhere in the world.
Being a digital nomad adds almost too much freedom, and without any routines or clarity, the “everything-is-possible” and “where-should-I-fly-next” becomes confusing and unenjoyable.
It may sound like a privileged problem, yet with simple morning routines you can add a lot of clarity and intention to your days, no matter where you are.
Here’s what I learned to create an adaptable and effective realistic morning routine:
1. Less is more
Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to do everything.
Commit to just 10-15 minutes of intentional activities.
This can be done even in a random hostel or early morning before catching a flight and you can actually make this consistent.
That's what this 7 day morning challenge is all about - simple routines in 15 minutes
2. Prioritize Flexibility and Simplicity
Build a routine that can be easily adjusted to fit different environments.
Ideally, you can just follow along the routine, instead of actively thinking and planning some movements, for example.
I don’t recommend gym or something that makes you dependent on some equipment or environment.
3. Do the routine first thing in the morning
If you are like anyone in the 21st century and tempted to grab your phone first thing in the morning, you are ruining your best moment of the day to affect the whole upcoming 24 hours.
According to National Institute of Health, sleeping detoxifies your brain and in resting wakefulness, the mind generates thoughts, plans for the future, and imagines fictitious scenario (Source).
So you are maximizing the benefit of the morning routine by doing it as the first thing when you wake up, and it is also much easier to cue yourself on building long-lasting routine, when you don’t get distracted at all before doing it.
Creating a successful morning schedule routine
doesn’t have to be complicated.
Here’s an example of morning routine stepsthat work for digital nomads:
