Everyone online is talking about Manduka Pro Yoga Mat Review but how about ordering from Manduka in general? How are the other yoga mats, blocks and bolsters from Manduka? Is it trustworthy to order from Manduka?
I ordered Manduka Yoga Pro Mat, Yogitoes towel and Yoga blocks from Manduka’s own online store and here I tell my experiences of Manduka online store and their products.

First I thought Manduka is a bit over-hyped (which it is for some products) but especially for the yoga mats I understand now the slightly higher pricing level and hype of other yoga teachers.

Mostly it is of course their signature products – The yoga mats.
With this I don’t mean only Manduka Yoga Pro Mat (which I have reviewed here: Manduka Pro Review) but also the EkoLite mat, GRP mat and other variations of those. All the yoga mats are simply awesome and very long-lasting, so it’s a matter of choosing the one for your needs.
Secondly, it is the lifetime warranty.
Note! I am not sure if this is valid if you buy it elsewhere than from Manduka directly, so I recommend ordering from their own online store.
So yes, the yoga mats are so good that they dare to give lifetime warranty for your purchase. However, if you have completely misused the yoga mat, you may not be replaced with a new one. It is worth reading through all the terms for the lifetime warranty of manduka here.
With a score of 2/5, Manduka falls into a bit pricier range of yoga gear. However, the quality is worth the price in yoga mats, yoga towels and yoga blocks.
Only thing I would be a bit more hesitant ordering from Manduka are the bolsters. I mean they are not per se bad, but they are not thick and sturdy, but more like softening after dozen uses.
You can of course always just add more filling to the bolster, but it may not be your primary choice when looking to purchase a great bolster.
So I would say stick with the best Manduka products: Manduka yoga mats, cork blocks, yoga towels and yoga mat cleaning sprays.

In my personal experience, I have loved the Manduka PRO mat for my personal practice at home as well as recording videos and classes.
I would not take it with me anywhere, as it is quite heavy to carry. It is slightly slippery, as many other reviews state as well, but I don’t think it’s THAT slippery. It’s more like not EXTRA grippy, but allows you to slide a tiny bit and activate bandhas, so for my use it’s been ideal. But if you have very sweaty palms/feet or practice mainly hot yoga, then it may not be the best choice for you.
I decided to actually order the Manduka EkoLite for my trips to have lightweight, good quality yoga mat for my trips and I have been happy with it as well.
Other products that have been so worth the price for me have been the Yogitoes mat, if I sometimes want the extra grippiness and not to have sweaty surface on the yoga mat (I live in Spain and sometimes tend to get super sweaty during practice).
And secondly, the Manduka Yoga Mat cleaning spray has been handy and easy to clean the yoga mat.
That’s enough from me, I wanted to conclude you some main points online as well when browsing reviews of Manduka. These are collected from Reddit groups, different comparison sites and Manduka’s own website reviews.
Review by Sarolta on: Manduka PRO™ Yoga Mat 6mm - Earth / Standard 71" (180cm)
After a few practice the grip is perfect
After 10-ish practice the grip got perfect and still than I love to use my Manduka pro, and I'm never going back to any other mat again 🥰
Review by Janie on: Manduka PRO™ Yoga Mat 6mm - Midnight / Standard 71" (180cm)
I have had 4 eko mats, but I decided to try the pro because I like the width 26" and I like the 6mm thickness. LOVE this mat--I should have chosen it years ago!
I purchased them because they are made of natural biodegradable material. But I actually like them better that the other blocks I’ve used because the are sturdier and provide excellent grip. My palms sweat profusely, but don’t slip on these blocks. Great product — Bravo!
Lightweight, good grip, great softness
I really like the Manduka foam blocks - they're lightweight, have a good grip and provide a stable platform, are very versatile for various forms of yoga and soft enough to rest on. I have bought two pairs so far - for myself and my partner. I've had mine for around 3 years now and they're still in great shape.
The cork blocks have some weight to them and are very sturdy which helps me feel secure while using them
Review by M on: Manduka PRO™ Yoga Mat 6mm - Midnight / Standard 71" (180cm) from Manduka
Don't sweat
The mat is very slippery for those that sweat.
Review by Robert on: Manduka PRO™ Yoga Mat 6mm - Black Thunder / Standard 71" (180cm)
Great mat in almost every way
I like everything about it. Except it's a little more slippery than I expected.
Review by Meghan on: PRO® Squared Yoga Mat 6mm - Midnight / Squared 78x78" (198x198cm)
Size is great, but not quite grippy enough for standing poses.
The size is exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately I find it pretty slippery for practice. I’m really hoping it gains grip over time.
Broken. Tried to reach you.
Response from EMEA & Asia Pacific Customer Care:
Dear Rikard We are sorry to see you received a damaged block. A replacement order was juts prepared for you and it will be shipped on Monday. For further support don't hesitate to reach out at yogisupport@manduka.com, we are happy to help!
Very nice, what you would expect. However I ordered two of the same color and they arrived looking different, not a complete match, they have different finishes.
These are very firm, I would’ve liked a little more give, but maybe they’ll got softer over time. Also not worth the money unfortunately I just wanted my things to match.
Other good alternatives for Manduka are AloYoga, Yune Yoga, Liforme and Lululemon.
Personally I find AloYoga and Lululemon overpriced and lacking quality. They are fine as yoga clothes producers, but I woudl not buy yoga gear from there.
Liforme on the other hand also produces good quality yoga mats, just like Manduka.
I prefer the simple design of Manduka over Liforme, but it's just visual preference.
Yune Yoga wins with its eco materials and super cute designs. They have also handy foldable travel yoga mats, which I would say are slightly better than Manduka Eco Mat for traveling, as Manduka Eko cannot be folded and therefore does not fit to hand luggage.

So all Manduka’s products are not made of eco-materials, but that does not automatically make it bad, let me explain why.
For example, Manduka Yoga Pro Mat is made of eco-certified PVC. Although you may not be a fan of PVC as a material on your yoga mat, it does make it to last for a very long time and many many practices.
If earlier you have needed to replace a yoga mat every couple of years, this one does not need replacement at least in a decade.
In other products Manduka uses also a lot of recycled materials, and you can read all the info here: Manduka Eko Materials
I recommend purchasing Manduka directly from their own online store, because then you have fro sure the lifetime warranty valid and they have a good customer service to get in touch with, if needed.
Yes, if
You are looking for a great yoga mat to last for a long time. You can do a test at Manduka to map out which of their mats suits best your needs
(for example: sweaty palms or do you need it to be lightweight to carry, or maybe you are tall and need a longer yoga mat).
If you decide to purchase a Manduka mat, I recommend going also for the yoga blocks and cleaning spray, as they are great.
No, if
You are looking for a sturdy bolster (they are little bit on the softer side)
You don’t have over 50€ budget for your yoga mat (although buying quality pays itself off over time.
